Ballroom

This covers in Beginners Waltz, Quickstep and Social Rhythm (Foxtrot) at Improvers Slow Foxtrot, Tango and Viennese Waltz are also covered.

Commercial

Sometimes known as street dancing but with a more MTV funky style.

Daytime Social Class

A lovely mixer class covering all styles from Ballroom and Sequence to Line dancing followed by a coffee break and a chance to have a good chat with your friends.

Intermediate Class

Intermediate students need a very good understanding of the basic fundamentals of most of the dances and an ability to navigate the floor. Groups are taught roughly on a monthly basis.

Latin

Beginners Classes cover Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive. Improvers can take in Samba and Paso Doble.

Dinky Dancers

A class especially designed for the younger student covering all aspects of our dancing styles to enjoy and have fun.

Sequence

Dances done in 16 bar phrases then repeated.

Examinations

Students may take IDTA grades these are held approximately three times a year. A way to show progression and self satisfaction.

Professional Training

Training from and IDTA Examiner. Teacher qualification training requires previous dance experience and a commitment to learn the theory. Examinations may be taken as full examinations or modular.
