Having taken ballet classes from the age of 5, I then moved over to Ballroom at the age of 13 as my mum was a Ballroom teacher. You could say I was ‘following in her footsteps’. I was totally bitten by the Ballroom Bug - I took all my IDTA medals until there was no more to do and also competed in small competitions. That was when I decided I’d like to teach – I took my pre-associate Ballroom and have never looked back. I then found Rayners and took my next Ballroom and Latin teaching exams with Jack. I’m still taking professional lessons with Dallas and have started my Fellowship in Ballroom. I thoroughly enjoy my dancing and teaching and love imparting my knowledge onto all dancers.
